Casper Dermatology The small clinic had been only minimally remodeled/upgraded since being constructed as a birthing clinic in the mid-1980's. Now functioning as a specialty skin clinic, the size and look had past their time. The project called for an expansion that included two much needed procedure rooms along with additional exam rooms and support space. Additionally, renovations to the existing building improved patient flow, modernized provider spaces, and included a central lab space. Through-wall p-tac HVAC units were replaced with central mechanical systems and tucked away into a full-height attic above the new addition; accessible, but without disruption of the practice for maintenance. The interior look included peeling away the dated finishes for a fresh, modern spa feeling that included furnishings and signage as well as modernization of workspaces for efficiency. Throughout the space artwork invoking the beauty of nature provides accent. All combining to evoke a sense of rest, relaxation, and dissolution of fear. The exterior was refreshed with a simple coat of paint to complement the existing brick masonry.
